Position – Design Engineer – Latches

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the Design & Development tasks for Customer Application programs through voice of the customer adopting the standard Engineering and company operating systems (i.e. PDP, engineering change requests, deviation procedures, BOM management and all associated QS 9000/TS-16949 procedures, APQP and policies) from RFQ acquisition and technical response to the start of mass production, and sustaining engineering and support for rapid resolution of quality/ warranty problems.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering)
- Experience working on designing of Automotive sheet metal and plastic parts
- Experience in the design of mechanisms will be preferred
- Strong working experience with CATIA V5 or Unigraphics.
- Knowledge & experience of working with local OEM’s.
- Good communication skills
- Project management experience
- International exposure will be an added advantage
Qualification: BE – Mechanical/ Automotive
