Job Description
Candidate shall have a knowledge of NDE techniques, He shall have ASNT Level II qualification in NDT methods, and He should be versed with codes like ASME and IBR. He must have knowledge of the interpretation of PT, MT, UT, and RT. He must have knowledge of NDE instruments.
Job description: Co-coordinating NDE methods like RT, PT, MT, UT, etc. Radiography film interpretation, RT technique sheet preparation, Performing NDE as per ASME codes as and when required, Ultrasonic scan plan preparations and scanning, NDE report preparations, TPI/customer witness, Procedure preparation, Technique development, Co-ordination for an advanced technique like ToFD, PAUT, CR and DR, Operating RTR as and when required, Handling contractor technicians and monitoring day to day activities, Co-ordination with other departments for completion of assigned activities.
