Job description
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing)
- Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Maintains product structures from conception thru production using the company’s PLM system
- Creates and maintains product options and configurations
- Initiates business process changes, continuous improvement process regarding Product Structure and Engineering Change with the goal of improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Performs documentation research for all parts/assemblies to be included in the Engineering Change package to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to change control policies and procedures and design drafting standards.
- Provides recommendations, makes decisions, and/or escalates based on the needs of the situation.
- Must be able to take a complex business initiative and develop systems and business process strategy, develop business and technical specs, perform business process validation and develop and deliver technical training material
- Proven expertise in the field of Engineering Change Management Process for a minimum of 3 years in a Semiconductor or similar industry
- Understanding and exposure to product development and release, change control, obsolescence management, and product lifecycle management processes.
- Working knowledge of product option architecture and configuration management
- Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure,
- Proficiency with transactional operations of MRP (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Engineering Change Control and ECO/ECR implementation process
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read and interpret product BOM’s
- Experience of working in cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
