To set up the Value Analysis (VA) & Value Engineering (VE) processes in Port Solutions, we are searching for a proactive, upbeat, and self-motivated professional team member.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Study and comprehend the project’s specs and specifics;
• Create a road map to get to the destination in optimizing the overall reduced cost and increased value chain, and conceptualize costs, VA/VE;
• Assist companies with product cost optimization and product breakdowns;
• Actively seek new cost-savings opportunities, for instance by feeding a savings funnel based on continuous linear performance pricing;
• Identify the core causes of inadequate supplier manufacturing performance that are related to design;
• Improve the level of customer satisfaction without sacrificing component/product effectiveness by establishing a systematic deployable framework to find and choose the greatest value among alternatives for each project endeavor;
• Participate in and assist efforts to reduce costs globally for both the creation of new goods and existing products;
• Contribute value-enhancing suggestions for applying best value options or nations in manufacturing processes, designs, locations, and other areas;
• create a database of relevant knowledge (such as supplier-specific profiles, etc.);
• Working closely with Category/Supplier Managers, support Make or Buy Analysis;

Requirements:

• mechanical or production engineering bachelor’s degree from a reputable university;
• a minimum of three to four years relevant experience in the engineering services, automotive, material handling, or crane industries;
• already had substantial experience in costing, value analysis, and value engineering;
• effective communication abilities, fluency in the English language, and the capacity to “listen” to what stakeholders are required to do;
• ability to conceptualize while recognizing and delivering immediate successes to build trust;
• Together with a continuous development mentality and approach, the capacity to comprehend various processes and systems;
• a working understanding of relevant systems, tools, and database interfaces;
• a capacity for teamwork;
• Standards of ISO 14001 and 45001 compliance
