Design engineer job description and skill requirements.

Job requirements (main tasks)——

Machine component design and drawing, such as slides, spindles, fixtures, bases, columns, pipe guards, tools, and so on.
Design computation.
Preparation of components drawing information and parts list.
Engage in interactions with SCM, assemblies, services, apps, and other functions.
Adhere to the ISO procedure.
Create design data using PDM software.
Technical talks with customers and suppliers, as well as other interactions with them.

Skills –

Graduate / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering – Preferably with a major in mechanical design.
Trainees from the IMTMA Design program are recommended.

Skills and Abilities Required. –

Professional expertise is required.

Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Calculations for basic engineering calculations in machine design.
Learn about the various metal-cutting procedures.
Part geometric measurements and tolerances, as well as production drawing preparation.
Understanding of various materials.
Discover more about heat treatment procedures.
Basic understanding of the machine’s hydraulic, cooling, and pneumatic systems.
Have excellent communication abilities.

Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience as a design engineer.
