Position – Commissioning Engineer for Industrial Refrigeration

Exp. – 7 to 10 years

Job description

• Mechanical erection of all equipment
• Completion of piping in all respect with proper supports & site engineer shall prepare mechanical completion report.
• Completion of Radiography Test (RT) and Dye Penetrate Test (DPT) if applicable.
• Ensure availability of adequate quantity of Nitrogen Cylinders. (Usually part of Sub-Contractor scope)
• Intimation to customer for readiness of Pressure Testing
• Complete the Pressure Testing as per standard OEM guidelines or customer approved pressure test procedure as applicable.
• After successfully holding pressure as per the mentioned guidelines, inform the customer for Witness Testing.
• Prepare Pressure Test Reports and obtain customer acknowledgement.
• Conduct Vacuum Test of the system as per testing guidelines. After successfully holding vacuum as per the mentioned guidelines, inform the customer for Witness Testing.
• Prepare Vacuum Test Reports and obtain customer acknowledgement.
• Electrical and Instrumentation Work such as Loop testing, S/W loading etc.
• Commissioning of new equipment means startup of new equipment at site & establish the equipment performance as per design conditions.
• Before commencing commissioning, the Commissioning Engineer needs to ensure readiness of the system from Site Team & Customer.
• Perform required Safety Checks as per Safety Checklist. After successful completion of all checks as per commissioning form, start equipment, observe operating parameters, perform required corrections (tuning the system) and establish design parameters.
• Complete the Commissioning Report and obtain acceptance of the customer on the Commissioning Report.
• After successful completion of commissioning and customer acceptance prepare for handing over of the system to customer.
• After successful commissioning of the system, Commissioning Engineer needs to;
• Ensure availability of calibrated instruments for conducting necessary tests as per testing guidelines for load trials.
• Conduct internal tests for verification that there are no mismatches between operating and design parameters.
• Ensure availability of Required Load as per design from customer.
• Handover the Final documentation
• Training of customer personnel (On Job / Class Room)
• Handover the plant to Service Team for Warranty Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification Full-time Diploma in ME
• Experience- 7-10 Years in Installation & Commissioning of Industrial Refrigeration Plants/ Process refrigeration experience preferred
