The Jacobs Returnship program has been designed for talented professionals looking to REFRESH SKILLS, REBUILD CONFIDENCE and REIGNITE CAREERS after an extended career break and absence from the workforce. This is paid, a 16-week initiative with the intent to transition our returners to permanent placement. As diverse as our business is, as are the opportunities we have available. Our cohort of Returnship participants will join multidisciplinary teams across a variety of divisions.

Your Focus:

• Drafting drawings in AutoCAD and 3D software preferable
• Working on engineering calculations, technical specifications etc. in coordination with lead engineer.
• Preparation of BOQ
• Designing layout of pump stations, wet well, Ancillary design for STP/CETP in coordination with lead engineer.
• Coordination with other teams like Instrumentation, Electrical, structural etc. to complete the whole pump station.

As a participant, you will:

• Experience 16 weeks of on the job learning and exploration with a diverse community of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds
• Access the vast network of resources at Jacobs through continual leadership development, support and mentorship from our dedicated Returnship program team
• Be confident that you will receive ongoing support and mentorship and support as you navigate the transition with us to permanent employment
• Be a part of our Returnship cohort community participating in regular focus group feedback session and social events to facilitate a seamless transition as you return to the workforce

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience in working in water/wastewater-based projects., designing pumping systems.
• You have had a career break of at least 1 year
• You are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part time and full-time options available)
• You have at least five years of relevant post graduate professional experience
• You are driven and thrive in a collaborative team
• You are available to start the Returnship program in April 2023
