Job description
- Mechanical Engineer with experience in the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical devices & systems.
- Responsibilities include design & development of GPU based products, designing a loading system for GPU, structural analysis, ECAD-MCAD Integration, conducting design reviews, performing product acceptance, resolving design and implementation issues, and working with vendors for manufacturability.
- Engage & responds to customer requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
- Possesses a broad range of mechanical design expertise in multiple mechanical engineering technologies and has advanced working knowledge in Tooling, Material selection, and finishes.
- Leads, mentors, and influences the work of other engineers. Integrates advanced working knowledge of other disciplines and demonstrates innovation and creativity in cross-functional design and engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 – 15 years of experience in the high tech industry with min 5 years of experience in the product (system) design & development.
- Skillset:
- Advanced knowledge of various mechanical design / electromechanical design.
- Expertise in the implementation of most major design disciplines and validation such as DFM, DFA, DFR, DOE, assembly, statistics, tolerance analysis, failure analysis, etc..
- Strong knowledge of various non-mechanical engineerings such as Board level thermal design, Structural design, and challenges faced across the electronics cooling industry with respect to PCB layout and manufacturing.
- Expertise in Thermal mechanical Designs of Graphics card is preferred.
