Job Summary:

The ETO Engineer is responsible for the design, drafting, and detail engineering of Rotary Vane Compressors and Vacuum Pumps. They review and understand client requirements/specifications, the complete scope of work, and ensure their implementation. They use design software to develop models and drawings.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Engineering and design of Industrial equipment like Blowers, Vacuum Pumps, etc.
• Creation and PLM release of 3D parts/assemblies, 2D drawings, and technical documentation as per Ingersoll Rand standards.
• Deliver component, assembly or system level design tasks, commitments, and participate in design and project reviews.
• Apply design calculations to demonstrate capability of the design.
• Implement Design for Manufacturing and Assembly methods during the design phases.
• Cross functional & global team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in preparing 3D CAD models, skid models, P&IDs, GADs, detailing and preparing bill of materials.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD modelling using Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault & SAP PLM.
• Experience in the creation of casting, machining, and sheet metal parts.
• Expereince in 2D to 3D conversion, GD&T, and tolerance stackup studies.
• Strong in Mechanical engineering fundamentals, design calculations, and engineering drawing.
• Excellent communication skills, good time management, and ability to work in a team.

Qualifications:

• Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines.
• 2-4 years of working experience in Inventor, Vault, and SAP PLM preferably in complex mechanical assemblies.
• Experience in Compressor/Pump/blower industry is a plus.
