Overview of group:

Global Chemical Substances (GCS) team within Collins Interiors group is involved in the material and environmental compliance evaluation of Interiors products. This group is responsible for devising a standard process and ensure adherence to global chemical and environmental regulations.

Position: Associate Engineer (P1)

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Awareness on Engg. Materials and Surface finish Processes.
  2. Experience in the use of basic operations of CAD tools (CATIA V5, UG NX)
  3. Working Knowledge on Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
  4. Exposure to Automotive/Aerospace Manufacturing and Operations Activities.
  5. Ability to interpret Engg. drawings and technical specifications.
  6. Knowledge of environmental regulations such as EU REACH, EU RoHS, and other global regulations.
  7. Understanding MSDS management in an engineering industry.
  8. Knowledge on CLP regulatory guidelines.
  9. Basic knowledge on Product Design/Materials/Process development experience.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering. 2 to 3 years of related work experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. MS Office experience.
