Job description

Job Summary

• The position holder is responsible for the upkeep of machine health by proper planning and development of the preventive maintenance schedule and its proper execution as per the laid safety standards of the group.
• To carry out preventive, breakdown, predictive, and corrective maintenance / Utilities activities as per schedule.
• Interdepartmental Coordination
• Maintenance of Stationary & Rotating Equipment; like Ball Mill, Crusher, Blowers, Centrifugal fan, bag filter, belt conveyor, etc.
• Introduce continuous improvement practices to boost Plant productivity.
• Project planning & its execution as per Imerys safety standard.
• Knowledge of Safety system and working environment.
• Knowledge of Spare management.
• Knowledge of budget preparation & its monitoring.
• In-depth plant & machine knowledge and hands-on experience.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to adhere to the safety standards of Imerys and ensure that they are followed by others
• Provide technical support to identify, investigate and solve mechanical / electrical operating and operability of the facility.
• Coordinate, schedule, and review all plant safety and reliability inspections.
• Plan, design and execute necessary repairs and/or modifications to resolve discrepancies identified by the Corporate Inspection Program.
• Develop and maintain the following equipment documentation; description, spare parts, equipment lists, histories, manuals, flow sheet; documentation, drawings, etc. This is done to ensure the continued reliability of the plant.
• Plan, develop and initiate the scope and priority for special maintenance work such as annual plant shutdowns.
• Participate in the facility’s Process Safety Audit Team. Develop and initiate changes to correct discrepancies as required.
• To do repair and maintenance of plant equipment. To do plant checking while running. Make sure plant equipment’s are working in safe condition.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Education: B.Tech (Mechanical) with min 8 yrs of experience or Diploma in Mechanical with minimum 10 years of experience playing an active role and independently responsible for maintenance function.
• Knowledge of Cement & Dry industry is preferred.
• Team handling experience
• A proven record of adaptability to Safety culture.
• Fluent in English, Hindi language
