Job description
Technical
- Good knowledge of Aircraft Mechanical equipment & systems
- Expert at reading & inferring Mechanical Drawings/ Manuals
- Ability to perform technical investigations and problem-solving skills for mechanical parts/components failures
- Knowledge of Manufacturing/ Repair processes such as machining, welding, cutting, grinding, blasting, etc.
- Good to have knowledge of Repair process consumables & expendables used for Mechanical parts
- Good to have knowledge of Material properties
Other Requirements
- Is proactive in assessing product/repair performance and reliability through the identification of technical issues and identifying improvements
- Analyzes field /repair data and reliability data to identify/troubleshoot failure modes and trends
- Supports the in establishing waterline, business case analysis of technical programs for “Gate Reviews” presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to tactfully and confidently deal with customers, peers, and personnel at all organizational levels
- Good presentation skills and experience in speaking to large groups
- Flexibility and creativity in approach to solutions
- Self-motivated
