YOUR TASKS
- To provide dimensional support to design team, solutions, and strategies through a cross-functional network of people and processes
- Assist in the development and rollout of training to cross-functional teams whenever required
- Assist in developing methodologies & Continuous improvements within the Dimensional Management processes & tools
- Working knowledge of Engineering Drawings with a focus on fit, form & functional requirements
- Experience with the use of Computer-aided tolerancing tools (3DCS)
- Good understanding of Tolerance stack-up analysis
- Knowledge and application of statistics
- Expert in Microsoft Excel for developing Tools (Use of VLOOKUP etc.)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Automotive / Production)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with GD&T applications (ISO 1101 / ASME Y14.5) and associated metrology in new development projects
- 3+ years of experience in new product development projects
- Preferably Automotive / Manufacturing / Medical / Aeronautical
- Very good Collaboration with Cross functional teams
- Strong quality mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong presentation skills
