Position – Motor Design Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

Job description
- Planning and executing electrical design and development activities and deliver the results on time
- Design of new products
- Design cycle of new surface (& submersible) induction motors
- Converting new product requirements into optimum designs to meet ever-increasing expectations of customers
- Implementing design changes
- Contribute to VA/VE Projects
- Participate in quality improvement projects
- Support validation team for validation of motors on –
- Performance testing & Reliability testing
- Online & off-line documentation of NPI processes, project schedules & test-summaries
- Quality problem analysis and troubleshooting
- Project related interaction/co-ordination with multiple internal business functions & external vendors, laboratories & agencies
Work experinece & Education Requirements
- Educational qualifications: Full-time Graduate / Post-Graduate Engineer (B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
- Number of years of relevant experience: 5-10 years
- Industry background required: Motors, Pumps
