Do you have good attention to detail and would like to join Agile team supporting multiple domain? – We are looking for Engineer – Mechanical to support our internal GEA companies globally.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

Based on projects’ your daily tasks include:

  • Contribute and support design projects of Powder technology products (Fluid bed, Solid-Feed or Powder Handling)
  • Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of various products on the given GEA technology
  • Prepare and execute typical spares worksheet for recommended spare Parts List per sold unit
  • Support Workflow for Service Part Identification, Part Creation and Part Pricing
  • Coordinate & communicate with supplier regarding recommended spares
  • Day to day communication with Design/Project/Service team in Europe or globally
  • Collaborating closely with project managers on new projects
  • Support technical documentation team as and when required.
Your profile and qualifications:

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • You hold Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience and knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD Tools. Preferably Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD & Plant 3D.
  • Experience in Spare Parts Management
  • Ability to understand CAD & P&ID information. Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Technically sound in Design Fundamentals and BOM creation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Good knowledge of PDM & ERP system – Bluestar, Axapta, SAP will be added advantage
  • Solution seeker when faced with challenges
  • Used to work systematically and independently with a team focus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable to work and adjust agile scenario.
  • Willingness to continuously learn on job.
  • Since GEA is highly international and work required to collaborate with GEA colleagues globally, Fluency in English skill – Verbal and written is mandatory.
