Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with product transition plan from engineering to production.
• Communicate with departments in Operations and all levels of the organization to share ideas and gain feedback related to work processes.
• Evaluate and support all aspects of material planning, including kitting and process routings, to ensure accurate workflow.
• Provide technical and planning support to Operations.
• Standard Work Concept Programming Observe and work with concept Subject Matter Expert.
• Ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety.
• Participate in new product design reviews, providing early identification of planning or manufacturability issues.
• Evaluate processes related to time, cost reduction, and inventory control.
• Analyze and evaluate methods of production and point out ways to improve them.
• Create standard work for modules within Concept (routings, bom logic, bom item logic, etc.).
• Lead or assist continuous improvement efforts, such as root cause failure analysis.
• Assist with new work instructions software implementation.
• Prioritize and bolster plant safety protocols.
• Document intricate processes to ensure consistency and clarity.
• Analyze and enhance capacity utilization.
• Streamline assembly flow, targeting a reduction in personnel per machine per day.
• Efficiently manage inventory.
• Ensure quality by inspecting materials.
• Play a pivotal role in quality control processes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Office, MiniTab, and AutoCAD.
• A knack for analytical and statistical problem-solving.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
