Job Description Summary

As a member of the Engineering Team, you will be the interface between the GE factory, the project team, and the Design office and will lead the related activities, in the context of the increased complexity of projects and fast changes.
Will work for world-class nuclear steam turbines, which are industry-leading equipment in terms of performance, availability, and power and will play a central role in mechanical engineering performance.

Scope

• The Turbine Factory Support Engineer will follow critical components manufactured inside GE’s Nuclear Steam Turbine factories in the frame of the construction of a turbine on one or more nuclear steam turbine projects.

Your role

• Coordinate plan architects and professionals inside your discipline (mechanical plan, thermodynamics, mechanical computations) for explanations and update of plan documentation when required ;
• Deal with the specialized connection point between the plan office, extraordinary interaction subject matter expert and GE Industrial facilities for assembling expectations, Non-Congruity the executives and Deviation demand the board.
• Issue and check specialized reports, estimation notes or drawings to clients when required (fix supports);
• Deal with the specialized connection points with different disciplines;
• Energize the input experience process with industrial facility;
• Guarantee the provider follows through on time and with the right quality the plan and assembling documentation;
• Take an interest in leading designing plan surveys when required;
• Associate with Specialists overall from the inner and outside plan and assembling groups;
• Will be presented to different points that will foster you in specialized and project the executive’s angles.

Responsibilities

• Report the designing pointers for the plant you are following up (on-time conveyance, financial plan, post-freeze adjustments);
• Give criticism experience to the gathering (input gatherings with the plant, criticism reports)

Authority

• Deal with the specialized connection point with GE plants and plan office and outer providers responsible for the parts fabricating (creation request issuance, cooperation in start-off and follow-up gatherings, paying all due respects to explanations, deviations, and non-conformances reports) fully backed up by specialists.

Required Qualifications

• This job requires progressed insight in the design/Innovation and Mechanical parts. The information level is similar to a Four-year certification from a licensed college or school ( or a secondary school confirmation with significant experience).

Desired Characteristics

• Some designing experience inside a Plan office (energy, oil, and gas, aviation, exceptional hardware)
• Some assembling experience inside a mechanical industrial facility (energy, oil and gas, aviation, extraordinary hardware)
• Fabricating processes and non-disastrous testing essentials
