Department
You will be part of the South Asia, Regional Aftermarket Sales Team which are dedicated to selling Spare parts in assigned customer region. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in a multinational organization and in an environment involving different cultures and different challenges.
Purpose of the role
The Sales position is responsible for driving the Sales of our aftermarket cement industry. This is an individual contributor role working within our team reporting to the Head of Sales – Cement Parts – South and to Work closely with the Area Sales Manager in other regions.
Your responsibilities
To achieve the yearly Sales target with the budgeted contribution margin.
- Responsible for acknowledging & understanding the inquiry.
- Responsible for preparing proposals as per inquiry document and clarifying any doubts/queries pertaining to the same.
- Submit the final proposal for approval to Group Lead / Sales Team.
- Ensure timely & correct submission of proposals for inquiries received from clients.
- Send the approved proposal document to the concerned potential customers.
- Follow-up for any further information requested from the potential customer and update the same to the Group lead / Sales team.
- Responsible for understanding customer requirements.
- Responsible to download inquiries and upload offers on the portal.
- Responsible for tracking the inquiry/proposal submission status as per the agreed timeframe/templates.
- Submit reports as per the agreed timeframe/templates to the Group Lead / HOD.
- Checking of estimates from the estimation division
- On receipt of the PO from the customer, check for any corrections/amendments on PO and send order acceptance to the customer in consultation with Group Lead.
- Support to Individual Area Sales Manager by providing appropriate feedback on open offers.
- Maintaining 100 % correct customer database (contacts & equipment) for Ventomatic and Pfister as per details given by the sales team on regular basis.
- 100% Correct & On time Preparation & submission of the spare parts list for 02 years of normal operation and Rate Contract proposal for spare parts as per the advice of Sales team.
- Responsible for on-time CRM offers creation after submission of offers
What you bring
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
- Computer proficient
- Team player
- Pro-active, determined and dynamic. Good planning and organizing skills.
- Ideal residential location would be in India.
