Role Summary

Responsible for 3D modelling, Design and Detailing, GAD, BOM preparation of linear, rotary control valve product lines to support Order Engineering, Product Engineering and Sustaining Engineering jobs.

Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Responsible for 3D modelling, Design and Detailing, GAD, BOM preparation of linear, rotary control valve product lines.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, procedures, international codes and standards or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers.
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Proficient in mechanical engineering core subjects, Computer-aided-drafting. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. (GD&T).
• Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette, work well with people in other departments and with customers.
• Creative thinker, vibrant and good team player.
• Knowledge and hands on experience in Industrial Valve design. Linear or Rotary Control valves.
• Knowledge in CAD/CAE Packages SolidWorks.
• Knowledge in ASME, API, ISO Standards, and procedures.
• Hands on experience in GA Drawing Preparation, BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• BE/BTech/BS in Mechanical/Production/Foundry/Mechatronics Engineering with Minimum 2 years of work experience or a Diploma with minimum 4years of experience in the valve industry is preferred. We can consider other industries if the candidate has more than 4+ years design related experience.
