A salesperson with office experience who is both technically and commercially savvy is wanted by Flowserve (Applications Engineer). You will create solutions in this role for clients and partners for industrial and unique applications. As part of a team, you will act as a product specialist and collaborate closely with the site’s sales, development, and other specialty departments.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Project management, application engineering, and sales coordination.
• understanding of Incoterms, experience with handling the terms and conditions of customers, and knowledge of examining bid documents.
• Taking part in customer meetings for technical and commercial clarification and answering technical questions (TQs)
• Work together with internal divisions to gather the technical and business data required for the proposal.
• Reviewing project specs and understanding P&ID with proficiency
• Make the clean and accurate order transfer files to Operations after reviewing the order paperwork to confirm compliance with Flowserve’s initial proposal and all agreed-upon amendments.
• working knowledge of and proficiency with administrative and engineering tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Participate fully and finish company-sponsored training on time.
• obey any additional instructions from the reporting manager.
• Understanding API 682 and API 610 standards is a plus
• It would be advantageous to have knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, engines, and valves.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• having worked as an applications engineer or in a position akin to it, such as an engineer or inside sales representative.
• strong communication abilities
• strong analytical and technical thinking.
• SAP Expertise Working knowledge of common MS Office programs.

Qualification: B. E / B. Tech (Mechanical/Chemical) or equivalent degree.
