Job Summary

If you are a Design professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a VOS Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work as a part of a team to create the General Arrangement Drawings and Bill of Materials for Emerson’s VOS ETO Business. You will participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, specifications, and detailed design documents. You will also be responsible for working with internal customers such as the sales team and project managers to understand project schedule and scope requirements in high-Quality design in compliance with our Quality system and ensure Engineering deliverables are prepared with due diligence after appropriate consideration of customer requirements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Create Models / Assemblies / Drawings in Solid Edge/ Teamcenter / AutoCAD/Creo/Windchill
• Creating General Arrangement Drawings, schematic and wiring drawings based on Project Specification
• Creating Bill of materials and Manufacturing drawings
• Preparing the weekly report and Metrics
• Collecting Technical Documents from sub supplier for controls and maintaining the controls library
• Maintain documents in Team Center/Windchill
• Understand the 2D / 3D System functionality and constantly aid in improving it.
• Individual Contributor, Understand and responds to customer needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in CAD tool
• Strong oral and written communication skills – Must have the ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
• To manage the flow of job in such a way that the priorities are given due attention and the work is completed on time.
• To use computer software’s to create Drawings based on the standard and to maintain Drawing Database

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related or equivalent field
• Proficiency in solid edge, Creo or any other equivalent CAD Tool
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working any ERP Tool
