Job description
Job Responsibilities :
- To prepare Material Requisitions (MRs) for Quotation and for Purchase;
- To review the technical offers from bidders, and to prepare technical queries;
- To prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) reports;
- To review vendors# calculations and drawings (VDR);
- To interact with other departments and projects/client, for Inter-Departmental Checking comments, on MDS and TechSpecs, TBEs, and Vendor documents;
- To prepare Material Requisition (MRQ and MRP), Technical bid evaluation of HVAC
- Equipment
- To prepare Material Requisitions for Quotation, and for Purchase (MRQ, and MRP);
- To review bidders# offers, to identify lacunae, and to prepare Technical Queries (TQs) as part of carrying out Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE);
- To witness performance tests of the equipment, at vendors# works, before final clearance;
- To comply with QMS procedures and to maintain appropriate records;
Education Requirement :
- Degree in Mechanical engineering from a reputed college or university;
Experience Requirement :
- Minimum experience of 1 year in equipment manufacturing companies or Engineering Consulting companies or Chemical plants;
- Shall be focussed on learning;
- Shall be a good team player.
Skills & Competencies :
- Knowledge of engineering standard specifications, and standard designs;
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint;
- Should possess good written and verbal communication skills.
