Position – Application Engineer, NA IP, Pressure relief valves

Job description

1. Review project specifications and prepare deviations list
2. Clarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Impact partner/LBP and WA factory
3. Sizing and selection of relief valves using proprietary PRV2SIZE software
4. Contact WA factory as and when required for critical application solutions/special prices
5. Prepare Technical Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings             
6. Participate in kickoff meetings, Technical Bid Evaluation meetings and Customer meetings as required
7. Provide support on project revisions from Customer
8. Support Impact partner/LBP after the issue of PO and assist with order entry
9. Provide technical support for BOM /factory clarifications and assist with change orders
10. Maintain records of all work done.

Basic Qualifications :

1. Minimum requirement: Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical
2. No prior work experience required
3. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a project
4. Basic knowledge of valves and their working principles
5. Experience in Inside Sales or knowledge of pressure relief valves or regulators will be an added advantage.
6. Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
