Position – Project Leader – Engineering – PDM/PLM

Location – Pune, Maharashtra, IN
Job description
- Work with Engineering Systems Manager to refine global PLM strategy for isolation business
- Design & Implement suitable solution architecture for PDM/PLM system in collaboration with IT team and monitor performance & data backup with help of team
- Simplify & standardize engineering process and develop tools/templates and integrate them inside PLM/PDM system
- Migrate engineering data from different sites and synchronize PDM data with ERP system
- Train & support engineers on usage of existing PDM/PLM system
- Maintain & trouble shoot any issues reported by end users on daily basis
- Assign work and manage performance of team and coach them on regular basis
- Manage projects from scope to roll out and ensure schedule & quality adherence
- Communicate periodically with all stakeholders and share details in a candid manner
- Support to achive Organization and Program KPIs
Desired Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
- Experience in use and implementation of PDM/PLM software such as Windchill, Autodesk Vault and EPDM with Industry experience in mechanical design and solid modelling such as Creo, ProE, Inventor or Solidworks
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Networking and Internet services with strong understanding of document management principles and best practices
- Knowledge of engineering processes, tools and templates
- Must be customer focused and service oriented
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, adapt to changing environments and show attention to detail
- Strong organizational ability to track multiple projects and license usage
- Training experience is an asset
