This exciting role offers the opportunity to:
  • The performance of testing is a requirement of this position, as is assistance to engineering staff in the setup, installation, and timely completion of precise product and/or system testing in accordance with the established test protocols, which were developed jointly by the Corporate Research & Technology team and product engineering functions.
  • Perform mechanical setup installation with a solid understanding of hydraulics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Perform test setups as part of particular and required test procedures for test stands, and finish test requests with the least amount of downtime possible.
  • Correct test configurations as necessary to comply with established lab procedures, test demands, or when performance is insufficient.
  • Clarify the testing’s purpose and the outcomes of ongoing tests by appropriately coordinating with the research and engineering teams.
Qualifications required for Associate Engineer
Requirements for the position of Associate Engineer
  • A mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree.
  • one to three years of relevant experience.
  • Testing of electromechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • assemble, preserve, and retrieve data from a master database that will be created using a lot of test and simulation data.
  • Take charge of minor tasks, create custom fixtures, and keep refining your skills.
  • To provide a safe working environment, maintain close communication with other technicians to standardize lab practices both within the group and with other groups in the institution.
  • To standardize lab procedures within the product group and with other groups and to finish test projects with a high degree of quality and efficiency, keep close contact with other technicians.
  • Maintain a spotless, secure workplace that is a showcase for client visits in the test lab. Work tirelessly to enhance the lab’s presentation for this goal.
  • Attempt to achieve the test lab performance goals set forth in the Balanced Score Card and guarantee ISO compliance.
  • It is preferable to analyze mechanical assembly concerns with regard to hydraulics components. An added advantage is having more electro-mechanical component experience.
  • solving basic test rig and product problems, and doing data analysis as required by the product group
  • knowledge of the hardware, software, and data gathering systems used for testing
  • Ability to repair any small problems with test rigs and lab equipment and to collaborate with other engineers to discover innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Using Auto CAD / Pro Engineer, reading and producing fixture drawings
  • the ability to clearly express and produce technical reports based on test observations
  • Educate, supervise, and encourage other technicians to complete tests within the allotted time limit
  • To define and carry out bespoke testing as desired by the customer, and collaborate with the engineers within the group.
