Basic R&D Engineer (Mechanical Developer)

Principle activities:

• Create concepts for mechatronic applications in the test engineering (PT) department, production, and installation of first prototype.
• Analyze, develop, and design new mechatronic components.
• Create and update technical documents (e.g. drawing, documentation, operating instructions, calculations, guidelines, training documents, work
• instructions, calculations, etc.)
• Cooperate in domestic and foreign projects.
• Conduct all activities and tasks according to development processes (e.g. the ProMIT/ ProMED, etc.)
• Startup equipment/lines/systems, both domestically and in foreign countries.
• Provide technical support and backup for associates.
• Plan and conduct production support for the production area, especially for rolling out of new mechatronic equipment in cooperation with the involved
• departments.
• Conduct training courses both domestically and in foreign countries.
• Cooperate in creating adaption concepts for testing equipment.
• Cooperate in domestic and foreign projects and conduct sub-projects (e.g. in concept- and series production within his/her own area of expertise).
• Plan and conduct the startup of equipment/lines/systems, both domestically and in foreign countries.
• Analyze and solve problems with regard to mechatronic applications/process scripts (e.g. for the mechatronic functions in the plants, in case of customer
• complaints…)

Profile:

• Mechatronic engineer with 3-5 years in the test Engineering field.
• Good knowledge of CAD/3-D.
• Good technical understanding of specific products, basic technology (milling, drilling, turning, molding)
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
