About the Role

You and us will work from our Lancohills, Hyderabad office as Mechanical Engineer-NPD in our medical domain team. You will report to project manager. As a Mechanical Engineer you will help build end-to-end design of NPD

You will

• Design systems/subsystems and components that meet needs in solid works
• Perform dimensional tolerance stack analysis based on design intent, form fit, and function
• Create drawings of components and assemblies according to GD&T principles
• Investigate important design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace-ability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, and cost
• Work with teams and engineers from other disciplines, to understand multiple requirements in developing the design
• Prepare product reports and documentation
• Work with global Product Optimization engineering (POE) teams to maintain an understanding of department R&D and existing product development road maps and resources.
• Create a detailed component and assembly model concepts, manufacturing drawings, and presenting design material for our customer engineering design reviews.
• Help create Bill of Materials (BOM) and configuration management (CM) efforts.
• Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts

You’ll Need

• 5+ years overall experience
• First Class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in solid works in sheet metal/assembly/drafting
• Hands-on in Enterprise product data management module in solid works (EPDM)
• Knowledge in sheet metal design principles, sheet metal manufacturing
• Prioritization abilities and take ownership of issues and tasks
• Oversee end-to-end success of the project, engaging cross functions, ensuring execution of timelines, and change management to provide, qualitative results
• Knowledge of Safety regulatory requirements of laboratory equipment
• Knowledge of ERP systems like Arena, BAAN/SAAP
• Experience in plastic component design and materials would be an added advantage
• Exposure to NPD life cycle would be an added advantage
• Experience with fluid diagrams and components would be an added advantage
• Willing to travel abroad based on project need
• Experience in home appliances/medical domain would be an added advantage
