Position – Chief Designer

Exp. – 8 to 12 years

Job description

Be responsible for plant design engineering activity together with other team members of the piping department.
Be responsible for checking & 3D conceptualization of lay-out, modelling and detailed design
Be responsible for the modelling of equipment (pump, process equipment, tanks, skid modules) as per the vendor drawings.
Be responsible for the modelling of pipes in PDMS as per P&ID and modelling pipe supports in PDMS as per client standard and procedure
Be responsible for the extraction of isometrics, GA drawings and pipe support drawings for construction.
Handle MTOs for the project scope, review vendor documents & interact with other disciplines/construction/client etc.

Hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years of experience
Have hands-on experience on 2D and 3D drafting software packages i.e. AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, etc.
Have experience of working on large Industrial projects
Preferably have experience of working on International projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
