Functional Manager (M4)- Actuation Systems (Mechanical) Development & Testing Team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive and achieve PDPR metrics at a functional level.
• Manage and develop the team and their competency.
• Manage the testing infrastructure
• Do test planning, resource planning, and budget planning for testing activities
• Maintain a positive relationship with Customers, other functional groups, and suppliers.
• Lead and drive Macro plan initiatives and organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and other Value Streams/Business Units for new engagement opportunities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
• Experience in the fixture and test rig design for both mechanical and hydraulics rigs.
• Knowledge in Instrumentation and data acquisition
• Knowledge of testing methodology (functional and environmental) and test documentation
• Ability to drive/carry out test failure investigations
