Overview:

This role involves being responsible for day-to-day design activities for an engineering organization that she/he supports.

Job Title:

Associate Engineer-Design

Job responsibilities:
  • S/he is responsible for all day-to-day Design activities for an engineering organization she/he supports.
  • Exposure to UG NX Electrical Routing & block diagrams is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA, Tolerance Analysis, and Material Selection.
  • Extensive experience in Generalized Engineering, Modeling & Drafting.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods.
  • Understanding the application of materials in product design in relation to the Life Cycle and Reliability is important.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate with other engineers and site PEs on mechanical design assignments is necessary.
  • Experience with composites and aluminum alloys, as well as a background in Aerospace/Automotive interior design, would be advantageous.
  • A high level of analytical ability and innovativeness is desirable.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A full-time Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
  • Candidates should have 1 to 4 years of experience in design.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with UG NX (Mechanical and/or Electrical) is mandatory.
