Job description
- Bachelors/master’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 10 Years of experience in automotive simulation, vehicle performance, Climate Control, and thermal management
- Strong basic knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Multi-phase flows
- Strong knowledge of CFD fundamentals
- Cooling and Lubrication (C&L) Systems and 3D Thermal CAE using STAR CCM+, Hyper mesh
- Perform 1D system simulations using GT Suite to analyze and optimize vehicle performance, Climate control, and thermal management systems.
- Calibrated thermal system that keeps the EDU within safe operating limits with derate functions in place.
- Thermal model accurately predicts system temperatures in real-world driving conditions
- Develop new methodologies and hand them over to the program team for day-to-day simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and develop simulation models accordingly.
