In this role the Lead Engineer-Stress will be actively involved in the structural analysis and qualification of Nacelle Product Components
Position: Lead Engineer (P1)
- Working as a cohesive team, you are in charge of doing structural analysis on aircraft parts, assemblies, and systems.
- Load calculations, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage-tolerance analysis, and vibration analysis are all included in structural analysis.
- Analyze the structural integrity of aircraft parts using the finite element approach and traditional hand calculations.
- Create records to document analysis findings and provide certification
- Mechanical or aerospace engineering degree (bachelor’s or master’s)
- two to five years of relevant experience
- knowledge of structural analysis of different airframe structures, both metallic and composite
- having knowledge of static and fatigue analysis
- a thorough knowledge of engineering principles, including material characteristics, free-body diagrams, loads, and analysis techniques.
- Utilization of FEM software, such as PATRAN/NASTRAN and Hyperworks
- The applicant exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Having effective written and vocal communication skills will help you work with many stakeholders.
