About ATMO:
ATMO-6IN is a technology-driven division of Bosch Ltd. We build Assembly Lines, stand-alone stations, testing and process machines mainly for captive use. From the service side we are into re-location projects, upgradation of old/existing lines and machines, modifications on existing machines, obsolesce management, spare parts supply and process and cycle time improvement.
Our team of specialized engineers and technicians work together to
- Execute the design
- Assemble the machines/stations
- Test and try-out the machine process/functions to the customers requirement and satisfaction.
We are currently looking to hire highly motivated and well-prepared designers in the mechanical field to support us in our projects

Job Description:
The role of a design engineer is an opportunity for a self-motivated, fast paced individual who enjoys working in a creative environment.
The role of the individual is to work with the design team at ATMO-6IN. Work on projects, from developing the concepts to the different stages of design.
Prepare assembly drawings and part drawings. Support design changes that come up during discussions with the customer or during the course of execution of the project.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the requirement and work on the concept.
- Design the equipment once the concept is agreed upon. Make 3D models of the equipment/machine/line etc…
- Participate in “Design Approval Process” with the customer along with designers of ATMO-6IN.
- Make part/component drawings in 3D and fabrication drawings using 3D package (Autodesk Inventor 2020)
- Prepare Bill of Material to support manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Support in making changes in design if required during the course of execution of the project.
General Points:
- Should be ready to travel to Customer locations, both inland and abroad as and when required.
- Should be flexible to travel within short notice.
- Should possess Good Presentation skills
- Should have a Positive Attitude and Proactive approach.
- Should have Knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentations.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. – (Experience in Mechatronics will be an added advantage)
- 3 – 4 years of experience in the machine-building industry
- Good knowledge of 3D packages (Autodesk Inventor 2020 or Solid Works).
- Experience in designing Assembly lines, Individual machines/stations, fixture design, Special purpose machines (SPM), Industrial Automation, etc..
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, preparing circuits, and selection of elements will be a plus.
- Good understanding of manufacturing process and selection of material with knowledge of material treatment.
- Have knowledge of engineering design calculation. Applying GD&T for the developed drawings
- Good communication skills and interaction with cross-functional teams like manufacturing/purchase, assembly department, etc..
- A “can-do” attitude.
Additional Information
Desired skill:
- Trained on MTM standards
- Trained on ergonomics standards
- Knowledge of lean line design
- Knowledge of the German language
- Knowledge of Pneumatic. And hydraulics
- Exposure in Mechatronics.
