Job description
- Overall responsibility and accountability for the Purchasing Function which will include people and budgetary management. Integral part of the senior management team which determines overall strategy and business decisions.
- Sources suppliers and develop relationships to negotiate and buy materials and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements. This includes supplier selection, RFQ’s and cost estimating.
- Responsible for Materials Management function including planning, procurement, storage, control and distribution of materials and products to meet Company objectives and customer requirements. Responsible for direction and administering Purchasing, Production Control, Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving, Customer Contact and Material Stores.
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines and risk management for supply contracts & service.
