you’ll be our: CFD & Thermals Simulation Engineer

What you’ll do at Ather:
- Develop simulation capabilities and correlation with test data for two-wheeler EV and systems like battery package, electrical and electronics assemblies, transmissions, electric motors, etc.
- Plan, set up, and execute CFD simulations for various programs
- Interpret CFD/thermal results for insights on the flow and thermal phenomena under consideration
- Prepare simulation DVP, state of health for different programs/projects from a simulation perspective
- Prepare standard documents for CFD and thermal simulation procedures; own reports for all simulation activities
- Provide technical support and contribute to the solutions for fluid-thermal issues in the product
- Run DOEs and optimizations for simulation problems
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Subject matter expertise in both the computational and practical design aspects of fluid flow and heat transfer
- Experience testing for CFD Simulation Correlation
- Strong understanding and experience in working with commercial CFD codes, preferably Star-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, and Icepack
- Experience working in Fluid-Structure Interactions simulations, Aero-acoustic related CFD simulations
- Demonstrated industrial or academic experience in addressing thermal challenges on an automotive or electronics platform
- Knowledge of DOE and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of CAE process automation using Python, VBA, or any other language will be an added advantage
You bring to Ather:
- B.E/M.Tech/M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant stream
- Computational Fluid Dynamics and Thermal Simulation expertise with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in an automotive/aerospace company
