Position – Service Engineer – Western Region

Job Summary
Reporting to the Service Manager – India and South Asia, the Service Engineer – Western Region, India provides after sales support to all western region customers located in Pune, Mumbai, Goa and Gujarat region
This position is located in Pune, India with occasional travel within the region
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
Sales and Sales Support
- Commissioning of Pumps and Controls in the western region
- To work closely with Regional sales team and provide efficient after sales support
- Provide timely warranty service support to all customers in the region
- Co ordinate with factory Quality team and give feed back about field failures
- To achieve targets given for Parts & Services business for the financial year
- Work closely with all regional representatives to plan & achieve the service business
Technical Knowledge
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Company’s product range in order to be able to offer or promote alternative equipment or services to the customer and to note whilst on site any other equipment the Company may offer it’s services for.
- Assist the Company by producing clear internal reports relating to product failures working, with technical team to perform onsite evaluation
- Actively develop your skills and technical knowledge including taking part in on or off the job training
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in all the training programs conducted in factory and through online portal
- Train all regional rep engineers for all products and latest upgrades periodically
- Co ordinate with all regional OEM’s engineers like Danfoss/CG/LHP etc. to get timely service support
- Identify elements of our products, services or working practices that could be improved
- Provide feedback on field failures to all OEM team members for corrective action
Role Requirements
- University Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 2– 4 years of Field service experience working in HVAC/Pump/Building Automation industries
- Demonstrated knowledge of Pumps and Controls in HVAC & Fire applications
- Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)
- Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
- Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
- Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
