OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PIPING WORKS IN LOCOMOTIVE .
• PERFORMING PIPE CRIMPING & OPERATION OF CRIMPING MACHINE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preventive & Corrective maintenance of locomotives.
• Maintenance of underframe equipment.
• Maintenance of Air supply unit.
• Maintenance of brake equipment.
• Maintenance of HVAC unit.
• Maintenance of Roof equipment.
• Maintenance &Troubleshooting of Pneumatic system.
• Maintenance of traction motor assembly.
• Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer & other major equipment.
• Maintenance of car body shell.
• To report accidents/incidents.
• To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health & Safety.
• Sound Knowledge of Design and preparation of Equipment Layout and Piping General Arrangement drawings and Checking.
• UNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO PIPING.
• Use proper tools and equipment to perform integrity management and regulatory tasks ON PIPELINES.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities.

Qualifications & Skills

EDUCATION

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical from recognized University.(Regular Course)

EXPERIENCE/ SKILL SET

• Experience of working in Locomotive maintenance ( Preferably 4-5 years)
• Language Skills: Proficient in the English language & Hindi.
• IT Skills: MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
