OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PIPING WORKS IN LOCOMOTIVE .
- PERFORMING PIPE CRIMPING & OPERATION OF CRIMPING MACHINE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventive & Corrective maintenance of locomotives.
- Maintenance of underframe equipment.
- Maintenance of Air supply unit.
- Maintenance of brake equipment.
- Maintenance of HVAC unit.
- Maintenance of Roof equipment.
- Maintenance &Troubleshooting of Pneumatic system.
- Maintenance of traction motor assembly.
- Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer & other major equipment.
- Maintenance of car body shell.
- To report accidents/incidents.
- To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health & Safety.
- Sound Knowledge of Design and preparation of Equipment Layout and Piping General Arrangement drawings and Checking.
- UNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO PIPING.
- Use proper tools and equipment to perform integrity management and regulatory tasks ON PIPELINES.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities.
Qualifications & Skills
EDUCATION
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical from recognized University.(Regular Course)

EXPERIENCE/ SKILL SET
- Experience of working in Locomotive maintenance ( Preferably 4-5 years)
- Language Skills: Proficient in the English language & Hindi.
- IT Skills: MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
