What will you be doing?

 Perform the assigned design task using 3D CAD software as a design tool  Identify limitation of existing designs related to assigned task and highlight it to senior team members  Collaborate with superior for implementing necessary changes in design  Provide design outputs to other discipline engineer for ensuring correctness with analysis inputs  Convert design concept to detailed engineering output such as model/drawings

Understand division specific work instructions, codal provisions related to design scope  Understand client/internal design requirements pertaining to assigned task  Understand desired functionality pertaining to assigned task in discussion with senior engineer  Go through the relevant design procedures/check lists and in case of queries, discuss with superior  Perform self-check of own deliverables based on provided inputs/guidelines to ensure specified quality  Prioritise assigned workload/task in discussion with senior/lead engineer  Regularly notify supervisor about progress of assigned deliverables and highlight potential delays if any  Ensure timely completion of assigned task/activity as per Master Document List (MDL)

We think you should have:

• B.E. (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) or Postgraduate in engineering (CAD/CAM)

Total work experience of 2 -5 years in 3D CAD design engineering  Practical experience of 2 – 3 years in design engineering of Automobile/material handling/Special purpose machines/Process equipment with exposure to manufacturing/fabricationUnderstand division specific work instructions, codal provisions related to design scope  Understanding of good engineering practices in design and drawings  Understanding of codes and standards relevant to design engineering  Knowledge of 3D CAD tools – Solid Works or similar  Self-motivated and ability to work in teams  Good communication skills – Both verbal and written
