Description
Job Objective
Assist in Techno-Commercial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Guidelines/ Policies Formulation and driving implementation at group level
    
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities  
Assist in Techno-Commercial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Guidelines/ Policies Formulation and driving implementation at group levelUnderstand product manufacturing process in depth from vendors and other sources. Understand and obtain costing factors. Prepare cost templates in Excel which is helpful in estimation. , benchmarking & testing of the same. Update existing cost templates with latest updates.Find out avenues for improvement of TC processes /systems. Planning and carrying out such tasks.Spend Data analyticsAssist for implementation of all the process excellence initiativesAssist in digital initiatives like Ariba adoption/change management activities. Actively monitor and track trainings to ensure adoption of the Ariba platform by users, confirming that user expectations are met.Keeping track of department budget in BPC.
 
Data management

1. Identify and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and value by analysing data.
2. Contribute to action planning and implementation based on data analytics performed for assigned categories.
3. Conduct governance on the procurement history & discuss with site teams to seek clarifications.
Technology and IT EnablementComprehensive knowledge of MS Office.
Technology or Automation related certificate course. (If Any)
E – Procurement tools / SAP / ARIBA

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate Degree.
Experiences:
1. Hands on experience of Procurement systems like SAP, Ariba etc. Excellent understanding of MS Excel. Overall inclination toward digitalisation/ technology usage.
2. Experience in working with eProcurement systems and tools (SAP, Ariba or any other procurement management tool, reverse auctions, etc.).
3. Knowledge of the overall purchasing process, strategic sourcing, and procurement related systems and supplier relationship management 
4. Establishing strategic contracts on long term basis to support our frequent O&M related spares, consumables, etc. on pan India basis.
