Position – Planning Engineer

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

To lead the entire vertical in terms of smooth planning, execution control and dispatch.
To make a detailed tracker of each machine and track the progress closely.
On-time escalations and raising RED flags wherever required.
Make a contingency plan to bridge the gap of plan Vs actual.
Ensure timely material availability with the procurement team.
Ensure systematic material movement from receipt stores to main stores in order to reduce cycle time
Prepare and publish shortage lists of various projects if needed
Strong coordination and follow up with all CFT members like AE, A&C, manufacturing, stores, QC, dispatch for smooth execution of each and every project.
Adherence to the monthly dispatch plan .
To ensure smooth and systematic internal material movement

Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Requirement

BE Mech
3 to 6 Years

Desired

Machine manufacturing, Mechanical engineering background.
PPC, shop floor coordination for material supply

Knowledge of planning & prioritizing
Inventory Control
