Job description
Job Objective
Design & development and application engineering for the business.
Primary Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the design & development and application engineering for the business. He/she will have to comply with the systems, policies, and procedures within the design function and will also be responsible for goals within the Business Unit
Key Result Areas
Developing projects using engineering principles and techniques
- Developing, testing, and evaluating theoretical designs
- Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability, and throughput.
- Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing, vendors, and customers
- Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
- Recommending modifications following prototype test results
- Using research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, particularly mathematical modeling and computer-aided design
- Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety, and time constraints while designing.
- Preparing Bill of Material
- Time, Cost & documentation control.
- Secrecy in projects.

Educational and Experience Requirements
- Education: BE Mechanical (mandatory) + Certification in Solid Edge / Solid Works (preferable)
- Experience: 3 years of work experience in designing capital equipment and SPM
