Job description

Primary Responsibilities Core:

• Manages Maintenance (Mechanical) for High-speed PLC operated manufacturing machine & accessories. Maintaining Down time & tripping
• Ensure process stabilization
• Root cause analysis of failures & CAPA implementation.
• Up gradations of PLC operated high speed manufacturing machines (HCM) as per modified design specified by R & D Centre
• Manages Spares part for running of new PLC operated machines.
• Maintained defined stock level & Optimize consumptions
• Cost management to reduce inventory cost

Scope of Decision Making:

• Resolves relatively complex breakdown issues pertaining to High-speed capsules manufacturing and seeks guidance only in critical cases
• Needs to proactively capture inputs on improving service levels such as response time etc.

Key Result Areas

• Coordinates with internal/external vendors for installation and commissioning of high-speed machines
• Monitor & control continuity of machines
• Monitor repeated failures in the machine and report to design dept. In addition to this, follow up with design department for rectification of the issues
• Participate in Daily joint meeting for review of Breakdowns & analysis
• Implements various new techniques / technology for trouble free operations
• Implements CAPA to ensure down time does not exceeds set level
• Monitors cGMP, ISO, TPM, 5S, internal audits, customers audit etc. effectively
• Executes capacity expansion and other projects with guidance from the level above

Educational and Experience Requirements

Qualification: B.E. (Mechanical) (Mandatory)

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in continuous manufacturing / process industry in Maintenance and Production
• Industry: Pharma / Beverage / Food Processing industry/Auto ancillary
