Position – R&D Engineer

Location – Nashik, Maharashtra

Responsible for mechanical design.
Responsible for the detailed design, 2D drawings, concept, and CAD 3D models.
Responsible for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) design and development, prototyping, type testing.
Designing of sheet metal parts, cast, machined metal parts, molded plastic parts.
Responsible for metal forming and manufacturing process knowledge and optimization.
Designing reviews in close communication with other R&D Project Managers and technical experts.

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant experience in the design and development of GIS.
Excellent competence with CAD (Pro-E, Solidworks, etc.), Smarteam/Windchill preferred.
The reading of technical drawings and experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is required.
Excellent English language skills-written and spoken.

Location – Faridabad, Haryana

Diagnosing technical problems, determining corrective actions and repairing products and/or systems via remote or on-site service.
Assessing technical issues to determine if on-site assistance is required.
Performing all on-site activities in accordance with ABB procedures and safety requirements.
Solving hardware and software functional compatibility problems and mistakes found during service intervention and replaces faulty hardware or software items involved.
Providing assistance via service calls during and after hours as necessary.
Performing remote service assistance using remote connection and diagnostics tools.
Acting as the project leader in the service project by analyzing the project requirements and clarifying the project scope.
Ensuring the coordination of the other internal and external technicians and assigns them specific tasks related to service needs.
