You will be working as Project Engineer and will be a part of the Motion business area, Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for processing orders in the engineering department meeting customer specifications and ABB standards, and delivering customer documentation.

Your responsibilities

• Processing orders in the engineering department
• Meeting customer specifications and ABB standards
• Delivering customer documentation, Bill of materials, and all required manufacturing/procurement specifications on time and with good quality using ABB tools
• Co-ordinating with other stakeholders to ensure smooth order processing
• Providing technical support to other departments whenever required
• Adhering to the ABB code of conduct and practicing the same

Your background

• B Tech or master’s in mechanical design
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in motors/generators design environment preferred
• Must know the basics of Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)
• Having hands-on experience in 2D and 3D modeling & drafting software (AutoCAD and Unigraphics preferred
• Knowledge of ERP software like SAP preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients
