Role description for Trainee Purchasing
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Market intelligence and research
- ZF Business fundamental follow-up with suppliers
- Support in purchasing tools like SAP, COPs, MAPS, SWAT, etc.
- Preparation & distribution of internal & external communications such as emails, reports, results etc.
- Collaborate with team members to gather and compile information for various projects.
- Follow-up with suppliers to do on-time project delivery.
- Perform basic data entry and database management tasks.
- Support the team by conducting research, collecting data, and preparing presentations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to collect required data and update at the ZF Group level.
- Ensure disciplined data collection, data validation, data analysis, and data upload.
- Perform data consolidation & analysis and highlight the result area.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Mechanical or Production or Automobile.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Proficient with MS Suite applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience in SAP as an End user is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Basic Purchasing and Automotive Industry Knowledge
