Job description

Job Responsibilities:
- Support Product Development Cycle of Automotive Power Inverters for HEV & EV by providing simulation-based design solutions.
- Perform thermal analysis of inverter components at sub-system level & system level to assess the thermal performance and improve the design to meet the thermal requirements using 3D CFD.
- CFD based method development for flow, thermal related problems and preparing the standard analysis procedure by validating with the measurements (test correlations).
- Closely work with designers in CAD-CAE loops to arrive at optimized design.
- Automation of the simulation procedure wherever applicable to reduce time.
Skills:
- Engineering/Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering with 2-4 years of experience, preferably with Fluids & Thermal specialization
- Good at fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals.
- Good Experience in the CFD area.
- Expertise in CFD tools viz. ANSYS Fluent/StarCCM+/Icepak/FloTHERM/FloEFD.
- Experience in CREO will be an advantage.
- Experience in the Automotive domain is preferred.
