Senior Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Responsible for the construction of sub-components and assemblies of the transmission
• Development, evaluation and coordination of solution approaches regarding function, producibility, economy and deadlines
• Participation in the creation of the system architecture for the responsible assembly
• Simultaneous engineering with suppliers and internal production areas
• Design – to-cost in collaboration with cost engineering and participation in VA / VE teams
• Commissioning and coordination of the detailed construction (CAD model and drawing) and simulation at national and international development locations
• Cooperation in cross-divisional and cross-location development teams
• Accompanying the industrialization, procurement and quality processes as well as the processes in change and variant management internally and externally
• Participation in the professional integration and training of international employees
• Execution of VA / VE activities to achieve the product cost targets (VA / VE team)
• Coordination of the mechanical and geometrical integration of the entire transmission with the customer (responsible designer)
• Evaluation of competitive concepts, patents (EG15)
• Instruction and coordination of construction activities internally and externally (EG15)
• Organize, functionally control and supervise overarching projects or sub-projects (EG15)

Your Profile:

• Completed university degree in the field mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, drive technology or mechatronics and at least 4 years of professional experience in construction (EG14)
• Very good knowledge of CAD Creo as well as knowledge of Intralink, Axalant, MS Office
• Basic knowledge of all machine elements in the drive train
• Working independently, good organizational skills as well as personal commitment and capacity for teamwork
• Fast comprehension as well as structured and independent way of working
• Experience with design-related designs / calculations
• Business fluent English
• Flexibility and resilience
