We are looking for a new colleague in the Process Engineering department at our location in Coimbatore, India.

Your Tasks:

• Analyzing feasibility of the new products, determining the assembly process flows, necessary tools, equipment, and investments.
• Ensure that the assembly process is prepared and optimized in time. This includes creating a Process flow chart, PFMEA, control plan, work instructions, error proofing, and more.
• Address day-to-day issues in the assembly shop floor and take necessary actions to resolve them. This includes performing root cause analysis to identify the underlying issues and implementing corrective measures to prevent their recurrence.
• Preparing technical specifications (RFQ) for new machines, ensuring order is placed and managing its progress.
• Continuously improve assembly processes to reduce cycle time, improve productivity, safety, and quality.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with a strong fundamental knowledge in Strength of Materials, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, GD&T in Metrology.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in assembly process development or production.
• Familiar with Office 365 products: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word, and Outlook. 3D Modelling (Creo/Inventor) & AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Creative mindset with a CAN-DO attitude who takes initiative and is dedicated in realizing the set goals.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, analytical thinking, team player, well organized, and strong commitment.
