Job Description
As a Mechanical CAD Designer – Steering, you will play a key role in designing and developing mechanical systems for steering components. This position involves utilizing advanced CAD tools to create precise and efficient designs that align with ZF’s commitment to innovation and quality.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of steering components using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and quality requirements.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to ZF standards.
- Document design processes and maintain CAD data integrity.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5, Creo, or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with design and development of mechanical systems in the automotive domain is a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to innovative mobility solutions.
